CRC Church delivers thousands of care packages to families affected by looting and riots!

Genesis

The Christian Revival Church (CRC) has taken a stand to lend  helping hands to those affected by looting in KZN and parts of Gauteng. In an interview with Newzroom Afrika the church’s lead Pastor, AT Boshoff shared his reaction after seeing the effects of the looting and riots in the country.  “We realised something has to be done, we have to bring hope and healing to the people of South Africa,” he said.

Pastor Boshoff added that, “this is the time that we stand up and become the hands and feet of Jesus Christ in so many different ways, not only in prayer but in actually helping people where they are. That’s what Jesus came to do.”

Ten interlinked trucks were filled to the brim with contributions of non-perishable foods and maize meal contributed by CRC members and volunteers. The convoy

made its way to KwaZulu Natal on Friday the 23rd of July to dispatch the care packages all around affected areas.  All this is part of their Operation Mercy project which aims to bring hope to the hopeless and distressed. This operation will also extend its hands to affected areas in Gauteng such as Diepsloot, Mamelodi and Soweto.
