Born and raised in the humble streets of Mogwase, Rustenburg. She comes from a fairly big, business orientated, family. She attended Rhodes university where she did a B.A double major in journalism and media studies and dramatic arts. She has been in the media industry for quite some time, first as a news reporter then director and later anchor for Soweto TV. Now, she is a freelance content producer and a serial entrepreneur.
Besides being in the office, she is the youth and mentoring director for the Global Forum of Women Entrepreneurs. A befitting position as she is very passionate about youth development and entrepreneurship. “I am a serial entrepreneur. I say serial because I don’t have just one business. I have many businesses under my belt by the grace of God”, she shares, “I do busines from a Kingdom perspective and Luke 19 is my motto. What may seem small to you be faithful with it so you can be entrusted with bigger and better projects so be grateful in all things”.
She is the director of Setshaba Communication which aims to create content for various platforms, “Setshaba Communications helps people or brands tell their stories through videos, refined writing, articles or proposals”. This is not only a business in alignment with what she studied but also her first love. She is also the co-director of Flower Boss, a business that is all about flowers and gifts for all loved ones. With the month of love here and blooming, this is a great chance to start learning to gift your loved ones with gorgeous gift packages from Flower Boss. “My love for elegance and creation with my hands is what led to the start of Flower Boss”, she adds. There are more businesses that she has in the pipelines including her own brand. It is a Christian brand that encourages prayer, Prayer Warrior.

She shares that starting a business is hard as there will be negative reactions around you, getting financial support is also one of the hardest hurdles as people would rather ask for favours and freebies than pay. And of course, there is a lot of competition, especially in the media industry. “I overcome my obstacles everyday by continuing to refine my craft, putting in the work I need to put in and do the best so I can stand out from the rest”, she shares.
