Renowned backing vocalist and musician, Musa Yende took to Instagram to announce that she will no longer be a part of Dr Tumi’s team of backing vocalists. The soprano has been working with Dr Tumi for the past four years and has been closely associated with his brand ever since.
The team savoured their last moments together on stage at the Replenishment Concert which took place on Saturday, 22 October 2022 at Supersport Park Stadium in Centurion.
Musa expressed her gratitude for the time she spent working with the team and said she would deeply miss them. “ I’ve made my mark in this space and now it’s on to the next. Yesterday we rocked the stage ONE Last time !! Working with @drtumisang has been an absolute pleasure. I’ve enjoyed the opportunity to get to work closely with you for the past 4 years, “ she said in her post.
Gospel artist and My MTN Joyous Celebration member, Khayalakhe Sibanyoni was among those who wished her well in her new endeavours saying, “To higher heights”. Fashion designer, zofo_zee also commented by saying, “let’s soar my angel, only the sky is the limit”.
